Slotkin: "When it comes to weaponizing government, Trump says what he means and means what he says"

WLNS local TV in Lansing, Michigan, aired a segment detailing President Trump's attacks and threats against U.S. Senator Elissa Slotkin. Slotkin responded by saying: " This is not the first time this president has tried to weaponize the justice system against me. At his direction, earlier this year, the Department of Justice took me to a DC grand jury to have me criminally indicted for sedition. If President Trump had his way, I'd be in prison. Thankfully, an anonymous group of Americans I will never meet voted unanimously that all I was doing was exercising basic free speech. So I know from experience, when it comes to weaponizing the government, the president says what he means, and he means what he says."
