A Walk Through Eliza Howell Park

I had a great time visiting Eliza Howell Park with Sidewalk Detroit and learning more about the history of this 250-acre park, the community’s efforts to protect it, and the importance of preserving Detroit’s green spaces. From restoring natural areas to reimagining how parks serve their neighborhoods, Sidewalk Detroit is working to advance spatial equity and change the narrative around Brightmoor. Thank you to Sidewalk Detroit for the meaningful work you do to protect and celebrate this space and the community around it!
